For peace of mind on absolute alignment of your oil pump, the PRP RB oil pump alignment tool is a handy piece of kit, especially for spline drive and sine drive oil pump gears.
The PRP Oil Pump Alignment Tool takes place of the oil pump seal during installation of your oil pump to ensure the oil pump gears are aligned within the housing prior to tightening any bolts (you may need to relieve the dowel holes in the pump).
