The Kelford Cams 1JZ camshafts below are designed to run with the stock cam bucket with shim on top. For engines that have shimless or shim under cam bucket valve train conversions, please contact us to discuss your requirements and the endless range of 2JZ camshafts available.

229-A Camshaft Set:

  • 248°/248° | 8.70mm/8.70mm Valve Lift
  • Camshaft for a near stock 1JZ-GTE Non VVTi engine. Great for street cars. Good throttle response. Improved low to mid-range power and fast spool
  • Suits stock twin turbo or single 54mm-58mm turbo upgrade. Can use OEM valve spring up to stock boost and rpm limit
  • For up to 7500rpm and 30psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS109-1JZ
  • Kelford Cams 1JZ Camshafts – 1JZ-GTE Non-VVTi

229-B Camshaft Set:

  • 260°/260° | 9.35mm/9.35mm Valve Lift
  • Toyota 1JZ 260° street performance cams. Improved low to mid-range power and fast spool. Good throttle response
  • Suits upgraded twin turbo or single turbo 54-64mm. Can use OEM valve springs up to stock boost and rpm limit
  • For up to 7500rpm and 30psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS109-1JZ
  • Kelford Cams 1JZ Camshafts – 1JZ-GTE Non-VVTi

229-C Camshaft Set:

  • 264°/272° | 9.65mm/9.65mm Valve Lift
  • Street/strip or track day performance 1JZ engine cams. Good throttle response and mid-range power
  • Suits single 60mm-70mm turbo
  • For up to 8000rpm and 30psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS109-1JZ

229-D Camshaft Set:

  • 272°/278° | 9.95mm/9.95mm Valve Lift
  • 1JZ-GTE Racing Camshaft. These are Kelford Cams most popular cams for a vast range of motorsport applications. More top end and maximum power than 229-C
  • Suits single 64mm-76mm turbo. Great with E85 fuel
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS109-1JZ
  • Kelford Cams 1JZ Camshafts – 1JZ-GTE Non-VVTi

229-E Camshaft Set:

  • 290°/290° | 10.60mm/10.20mm Valve Lift
  • Drag Racing Cams for wide open throttle and high rpm power. 1JZ-GTE non VVTI engine running 72mm+ turbocharger. Ideal for alcohol based fuels. Designed to keep the valvetrain stable even on stock buckets
  • Cylinder head may require machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS109-1JZ-T valve spring
  • Kelford Cams 1JZ Camshafts – 1JZ-GTE Non-VVTi

229-F Camshaft Set:

  • 282°/286° | 11.00mm/11.00mm Valve Lift
  • High lift racing camshaft to suit 1JZ non-VVTi engine running alcohol based fuels and 72mm+ turbo. These high velocity cams require a shimless bucket or shim-under bucket conversion, such as the DLC coated bucket KCF-229.
  • Cylinder head may require machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes

229-G Camshaft Set:

  • 292°/302° | 10.80mm/10.80mm Valve Lift
  • Pro-import drag racing cams to suit extreme boost, high rpm 1JZ-GTE non vvti engine running alcohol fuel. 80mm+ turbocharger. Shimless buckets such as KCF-229 are preferred for these cams
  • Cylinder head may require machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
